Learning that each year many are lost and not found

In a chance encounter a BC search and rescue volunteer shared S&R statistics from the last year British Columbia published them (2020):

1703 incidents (missing, injured, etc)

2284 subjects, of which:

2117 were found alive

85 were found deceased

82 were not found (at time search task is closed)

There are others like us. Shared sorrow.
